Re: Installtion need help

I'm not sure why would you need SPTKLib.dsp. In my understanding, you were
using MinGW as your compiler. In that case, just follow the instructions
from the README file for MinGW (Cygwin).
SPTK doesn't support .dsp projects (MS VC6) since version 3.3. MS VC7 and MS
VC8 are supported, however, they use .sln files.

2006/12/3, UN PEP <infounpep@yahoo.com>:

Hi
I need the SPTK library files. Because I tried to compile the
version 3.3 that i downloaded
  from the web site.
  But I could not success.
What my understanding is SPTKLib.dsp should be imported first and then
compile.
Then it will create the library files and i can use it in the Linker
option of Project.
  Am i right?
But I saw the ready-made copile version in your web site is for version
2.2 alpha.
Do you have ready made compile one for version 3.3?
If my understanding is wrong, please help me how to use SPTK library and
link into my project.
  P. s : I did not install aspell, and sql modules as I'm using MS Access
and odbc.

  Thanks.

Try to use examples/odbc_test.cpp as an example.
Update CODBCDatabase db("DSN=odbc_demo"); to whatever is the name of your
Data source name in ODBC manager of Control Panel.
The most important part for now is db.open() in line 83 - if it works, the
rest is peanuts :)
